These switches are used in the ultrasound probe, medical device, industrial equipment, manufacturing equipment, aerospace industry etc. These switches made from layers of flexible polyester sheets bonded together with thin adhesive sheets. In the Flexible Membrane Switches, screen printing creates the electrical circuitry through the conductive ink on the polyester layers forming traces (that act like wires) and contact pads in the key areas. After the assembly, the membrane switch components form an electrical device containing one or more touch switches.
